Topdogs in Manila

Top Dog is an irreverent podcast that is unafraid to uphold the traditions that make men the real dogs that they are. We eat meat, preferably deep-fried or roasted with the fat still on it, we drink and then drive, we have sex on our mind and try to get it as often as we can (gotta do the cardio, baby). And we're not afraid to admit it. We are not metrosexual, nor sensitive, but we are brutally honest, bordering on tactless, telling it like it really is. This the side that men have been afraid to show since women made carrying their purses and raising the toilet seat the standard of a good man. You either hate us or love us. Either way we keep doing it Doggy-Style!

An adventurous fellow, "Buko Pie" lives life on the edge. He is a
mountaineer, rock climber, scuba diver/instructor, skydiver and a
posuer triathlete/adventure racer who aims to become the first
Filipino BASE jumper.

Deep inside though, what he really wants is to be a Top Dog and get
all the chicks on to his best side, his bedside .

Dj Bukopie, who virtually no one knows as Randell Raymundo, is the
founder of PIEWORKS Productions. An independent adventure sports video
producer featuring the extreme playground sites in the Philippines.
"Mr. Francisco"

Mr. Francisco lives and breathes the Topdog life. He is the most
prolific Music Video Director in the Philippines (I guess that sentence
encompasses all three dogmas altogether). He also directs special
interest videos e.g. Erotic Dancing by the Viva Hot Babes. Yes, Mr.
Francisco gets paid to shoot women take their clothes off. However he
says "these are necessary evils to further one's craft." We say
"bullshit." At the end of the day, he doesn't care. He'll do what he
wants and he gets his way. That's why he enjoys the freedom of the
Internet.

Aside from his day-job as filmmaker, Mr. Francisco is also an
accomplished Alto Saxophonist. He has jammed in clubs in New York City
(where he took up film), Los Angeles CA and in Manila. He pioneered the
fusion of live instruments with DJ music in Manila when he played the
sax side-by-side top DJs. This is where he also realized that nobody gets laid to house music.

Mr. Francisco's wisdom is rooted in reality and he shares them with you only here on Topdogs in Manila.

Nick is a nice guy in real life. He grew up in the ghettos of New
Jersey for the majority of his life and moved to the Philippines three
years ago and has since moved up the food chain. He's not really
a director, but he is a writer. Not in that 7th grade writing
poems sense, but he actually gets paid good money to write content for
people to read, say, and act. He's also the lead singer and
guitar player of the pretty boy punk rock band, The Ferdie 2000.

Some people say he's funny. But he's not. He's just talks a
lot and occassionaly speaks so fast that people laugh in order to guise
their lack of coherence. Throw a handful of sand in the air and a
grain is bound to land on your head. Or in this case, the funny
bone.

And contrary to on-air speculation, Nick does not man-to-man dance. Unless Brad Pitt is on the floor.

Nick is also the brother of Hall of Fame Top Dog, Direk Luigi. Nick dedicates everything he does to his memory.
